Hello and welcome to the brand new blog for Taylor Resources Writing! As many of my wonderful clients and colleagues have pointed out to me, by hosting my blog "A Journey of Words" the last few years directly on Wordpress.com, I have been doing my website a disservice. Well I admit it that you are 100% correct. The story behind all of that is that I actually started blogging a long time before I started my website, and just didn't have the heart to take it down. It just so happens that I fell in love with blogging in a big way, so I didn't want to lose my time spent over at Wordpress. Well, the time has finally come and I have taken the time to build a blog here! So consider me a "blogging graduate" and enjoy reading my newest posts here. (P.S. I will be adding all my old posts here for your reading pleasure, in case you missed some of the best ones!)
Here we are at the beginning of another great chapter of Taylor Resources Writing. It's been an amazing journey as a freelance web copy writer and a work from home Mom. What started out as a part time venture in 2006, quickly turned into a full time rewarding career. I've had the pleasure of working with many many wonderful entrepreneurs, small business owners, marketing and web development firms around the world. I've published articles on every topic from careers and finance to technology and business. I've somehow managed to be regularly featured on the Chamber of Commerce, FindVenture, US News and Yahoo Business as a contributing writer. It has also been a hallmark year for me as I am honored to be working with the premier SEO and web marketing firm in the Southeast, on some very exciting web content marketing and social media projects this year!
I am forever grateful for all of my readers and the people who have encouraged me to keep pushing forward in my writing career. I would not be here without all of YOU.
So, look for great things on the horizon as we say goodbye to my old blog and hello to a bright new blog!
